After reviewing the over 8,000 entries, “Wouldn’t Change A Thing,” inspired by a letter from a North Carolina woman to her husband of 25 years, and “When Love Comes Home,” taken from a note from a man serving in the military to his wife while on deployment, are now available at Amazon.com as a two song bundle for just $6.99. In just the few hours the songs have been available, they’ve already flown to No. 1 on Amazon's MP3 Movers & Shakers chart.
West joined the winners on the “Lisa & Eric Morning Show” earlier today to reveal the songs. Later this month, West will embark on his spring headlining tour titled “An Evening of Stories and Songs with Matthew West” with opener Josh Wilson. I Am Second, a movement meant to inspire people of all kinds to live for God and for others through authentic stories, will serve as a partner for the concerts. The shared songs and stories will be from The Story of Your Life, his latest album inspired by 10,000 stories he received from every state in the U.S. and 20 countries internationally. The tour kicks off in mid-February on the west coast and will continue to hit select markets in the Midwest and east throughout March and into early April.
